Hey Look, I am a RailRoader

Last Monday I spent the day with an “Air and Tie Down” crew.   We were responsible for checking the brakes on all the rail cars before the train leaves.  On Tie down you assist / guide the crane operator as he places the containers and trailers on the rail car.  I had fun despite the 22 degree temps.

 

Heading to our NY and NJ container ports and terminals tomorrow.  I’ll try to take more a better photos.
