Karen and I just got back from the condo.  Everything was as we left it.  Some cleaning up to do on the complex grounds but nothing that cannot be accomplished in short order.  When are you going to visit?

 

Hurricane Report

Good morning.  We are all full up.  No issues with power or cable as of 6:34 this morning.  I got a text from JEA at 6:34 and immediately left Amanda’s for home to check things out.

I was worried about the pool overflowing.  It was high, but had not gotten over the lip.

 

This side of I-95 got mostly wind and rain, little flooding.  Lots of damage at the beaches.  No info yet on the condo.  Florida Power reports the electricity service should be restored tomorrow so we will probably go over to check things out then.

Round 2

Round two of oatmeal with eggs. This morning I cook the eggs sunny side up put them on top of the oatmeal and the oatmeal instantly cook the yolk the rest of the way through.
4 spice, I added crushed red pepper flakes and freshly ground black pepper.

Tallulah is very interested in what I am doing. I know this sounds really weird but it was darn tasty and I'll definitely be doing it again.

Breakfast of Champions

Men's Health magazine recommended oatmeal with fried eggs on top.  Sounded odd, but I tried it. Yolks really added flavor to the oatmeal. I did not use cinnamon, sugar or anything else. tomorrow to that I will add some hot sauce and black pepper and try it that way
